The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. - Psalm 28:7

My last post for now...

My sweet step-son will be getting married soon so we are preparing for the rehearsal dinner!  I love him and his beautiful fiance so very much and really want it to special.  Here are a few things that I have made for that night.  Now some are not made with vinyl, but if you are interested in me helping you with your next event with a few ideas, please let me know.

This, again, was a borrow from Pinterest.  It is an old window that I stained and added pictures from their years of dating and the top says "all because two people fell in love".  This will either hang in their bedroom or their sitting area of their new home.  I loved how it came out!

The roses were dried from when he proposed to her and I wanted to find something special to do with them.  So a shadow box was made!
These are the invitations!!!  I LOVE THEM!!! They are printed, yes printed on a printer, on muslin.  Their wedding is following a natural theme and mason jars are being used so I also went with that theme.

I also thought to use baby food jars as pretend mason jars as favors!  Mason jars are a little expensive when you are looking to purchase 50 of them so baby food jars can be decorated to impersonate then...HA!  The tag says "sticking together from this day forward" and I will be putting gum in the jars.  The name tents and table decoration will coordinate with cardstock and burlap.  I also created a personalized coloring book for the flower girls and ring bearers so they have something to keep them busy at the rehearsal dinner.  It turned out so cute!!!!!  They will get it in a busy box especially made for them!

What can be done with wood...

I had been looking for something for my kitchen...what was I going to do???  Well, I decided to try to find a cabinet door that would match MY cabinets doors and see what I could do.  I love it!!!

When my first sweet grandson was born, I made him a board with his name on it and a saying...it now hangs in his room.  Then, when my second precious grandson was born, I wanted to make him one too...

Then I also wanted to make a few frames for him for his room...

A very special friend of mine had a sweet little boy, named Cole!  He is adorable!!  I wanted to give her a couple of things she could use in her nursery, diaper bag and for day care.  She decorated his nurser in brown and blue and accented with the cute ABC theme.  I also wanted to make a cute, but different door sign for the hospital and I was so happy with what I came up with!  I used a canvas, wooden cross and my cricut and this is what I came up with...

Didn't it turn out CUTE!!!!!  It now hangs in his sweet nursery!!!!

Well, then a friend of mine wanted something similar for new nephews wedding and after putting our heads together, this is what we got...

CUTE!!!!  Oh, the ideas are just endless!!!!!  This now hangs in Audra and Doug's kitchen!

Yup, there's more!! Blocks

These are blocks that were for Christmas presents!  I loved how they turned out!  On one side it is personalized with their last name initial and then the first names in the middle of the letter.  Then on the other side I was able to put a Christmas tree but a couple of people wanted to be able to use it year round and so a verse was added.

More pictures...

Here are a few items for your car...

Car tags and car decals.  The two decals are for businesses...I was able to personalized it to match the logo of their business.  I thought they turned out GREAT!!!  Please check them out!  Joyful Expressions by Ashley Pennington Glover (Ashley make custom frames that are great and reinvents old furniture) and Bare Your Cross by Chanel Thomas (Chanel makes BEAUTIFUL crosses).  These ladies are VERY special women!  They have pages on FaceBook so check them out!

It's been too long!

I fuss at my friends for not updating their blog more often and look at me...I am so sorry I haven't posted new pictures!  So, I guess it's time for an update!!

I have been kinda busy...I've found Pinterest!  There are so many fun ideas out there and some of them I remade and some of them I made new with vinyl!  I'll try to limit the pictures but I have several new things to post.  I hope you like what I have done!  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

This is a dish soap dispenser but I have added wire and colored stones to help add a little flair to it!

This is one of those Pinterest ideas...the original idea used a wood soldering gun, but I thought I would give it a try with vinyl.  It turned out GREAT!!!  These hangers will be used for the bridesmaids dresses and will make really cute pictures!!
